Gillian Mead is Professor of Stroke and Elderly Care Medicine at University of Edinburgh. She is a world leader in fatigue after stroke and is passionate about research aimed at improving quality of life for stroke survivors. In her Life after Stroke Clinic in NHS Lothian, she uses the latest available research evidence to help treat stroke survivors with common problems such as fatigue, emotional disorders and pain.
